Can't change resolution in Linux
« on: September 03, 2011, 01:17:21 PM »
Hello.
I have the following problem: the game starts and plays ok, but in windowed mode and in the lowest possible resolution. When I try to go to options and change the resolution or go to fullscreen mode, the game crashes with a segfault.
I have Linux Mint 11 x64

What's your graphics card?  Have you tried updating to the latest version of the first-party graphics drivers from the graphics hardware manufacturer?

GeForce 6600.
I was sure, that I had the latest drivers, but it turns out I didn't. Updated them and it "kinda" helped. Now I can make the resolution a little bigger, but if I take the biggest, or switch to fullscreen, game stops displaying graphics. Just some strangely coloured squares or something.
