A couple suggestions
« on: March 07, 2009, 09:08:01 AM »
Hopefully these aren't duplicating anything...

I'd like there to be some way to skip the exit animation.  For example, I was trying to get a better time on Jack in the box, and watching the same animation multiple times got old.

Also, on the music levels, It'd be nice if there were some way to hear the song before hand (possibly from the menu), or if time stopped while the example tune was playing (you'd probably have to conceal the puzzle, though).

You can skip the final animation by pressing escape.  To make that a little less obscure, maybe I should allow the user to press any key.

Hmmm... not a bad idea.  At the very least, it would help users to more easily distinguish puzzles from the selection menu.  From an engineering problem, the challenge is that the tune isn't known until the puzzle is loaded -- which doesn't happen until you press the play button.  Would other users like to see this feature?
