Hi I got Cogs on my ATi Radeon 5770. After a few levels or so my game freezes and then crashes and then the driver crashes. Has anyone else experienced this?

There are a few other players who have reported problems with ATI cards, but most have been resolved after installing the latest drivers, so you might want to give that a try.
If you have the latest drivers and still have a consistently repeatable bug/crash, let me know. If you can forward the log.txt file from the Cogs application directory, that may also help me isolate the problem.

Attached is the log file following the latest crash. Not sure if there is any insight there...

Unfortunately, there aren't really any good hints as to what might be going on from the log.txt file. But you might try turning off the antialiasing to see if that makes a difference. From what I've found, hardware is extremely picky about its antialiasing parameters, especially when you're also rendering shadows.

Turning anti-aliasing off definitely made a difference - this time the program, instead of freezing right away struggled for a bit before my entire PC froze! Who knew this little game could bring my machine down.
By struggling, I mean the audio started getting skippy and the game paused a bit as it lagged when I got to a certain point. But then after struggling for a few minutes it just gave in and froze. I'd strongly suggest testing this against the ATi 5770 video cards with DirectX 11. None of my other games crash like this.
