Extrasolar / Extrasolar Memories
« on: November 11, 2018, 12:31:07 PM »
I'm sad to announce that the last day for Extrasolar will be December 1, 2018. It's been an incredible journey, but I can no longer justify the cost and time needed to maintain the servers. More on that at the Extrasolar postmortem.

If you have favorite memories that you'd like to share about your explorations on Epsilon Prime or surprising encounters with the various characters you met along the way, I invite you to leave them here. Thanks to all our fans for your support!

Dream to worlds beyond.

Extrasolar / Tags Failing to Submit: Fix in Progress
« on: December 06, 2013, 11:23:22 AM »
Some of my code changes last night caused a problem where tags are failing to submit.  This should be fixed by noon PST and you can reattempt to tag anything that previously failed.

Extrasolar / My rover is stuck in a red zone
« on: November 19, 2013, 03:13:39 PM »
As part of our tuning process, we're shifting around some borders.  Usually you won't notice these invisible walls until you bump up against them.  But when we shift them, it's possible to accidentally end up on the wrong side of an invisible wall, which may cause the server to return an error when you try to move.

To help fix this, I'm pushing a change live right now that will display a restricted region in red if you've somehow managed to get inside it.  If this happens, just make sure that your next move takes you outside that region.  If you're having any trouble (for instance, you can't move far enough to exit the red region), post here or send an email to rob@lazy8studios.com.  Be sure to include the email address associated with your account.

Thanks for your help and patience!

Extrasolar / Hide spoilers with the

tag
« on: November 03, 2013, 04:12:09 PM »
The forum now supports a spoiler tag that will force readers to click a button to see the spoiler text.  To use it, select the text that you want to be hidden and click the yellow & black button that looks like a radiation symbol.

Here's what it looks like when done:
The Wizard of Oz is a charlatan!
