Extrasolar costs me about $900/month, so unfortunately, I'll be winding it down soon.

Is there no way to make it less costly? Deleting old profiles, increasing movement time etc.? It would be a shame to shut this game down completely.

Plus, I am keeping and publishing my own journals (though not in blog form) here (which obviously will contain spoilers). I will be adding new journals as I continue my explorations and research projects. :)

This is awesome! Bumping it from page 6 so that others have a chance of seeing it.

I just pushed a change to the servers that will make it a little easier to find Turing's rover. Basically, it will pop into view if you get close enough. That being said, you should be able to use the direction markers on the panorama from Turing's blog to triangulate quite precisely where you'll find his rover.
The blog post is sent to the player for the first time in the message "Landmarks". The blogpost itself says that "he'll likely stay in the region for several days". So when you get the message "exoleaks and turing's rover", it's reasonable to expect he won't be in that exact spot anymore, especially if it takes the player some time to get to that location. I also searched the whole area before triangulating the exact position. That being said, after triangulating the spot it's easy enough to find the rover.

If you do it twice she sets a filter which forwards all your mails (you shouldn't send) to /dev/null/ automatically.

Whats weird is that she does it even after you begin working with Turing and it's agreed to send him the files. The inboxes aren't monitored (otherwise you would be discovered immediately), so I see no reason for her to get so upset after the group call.
Saw something interesting there too! No success in tagging it though. Maybe it is meant to stay a secret?

Being a total nerd I found about the game via Rob Jagnow's GDC talk:

Basically as soon as I read the title "Game Design at 0.0003 FPS" I was hooked :)

It was recently published on the GDC youtube channel, that's how I discovered the game:
Paid for it after a day. Great experience so far.
